Good Bye Tree
Our Flowering Pear tree fell last night. Kevin's truck was parked in front of it on the street and the Telephone and power lines to the house were on the right of the tree and that dear tree decided to fall on one of our cobblestone columns that Mark Helm created for us. No one was hurt, no damage was done, Eli got firewood, and it is all cleaned up. It had been a wonderful tree, sorry that it got Oak Root fungus. The experience just reminds me of how grateful I am that I live with people who can handle things and turn them into something new.

Blame My Friend Max
Why did the mushroom get invited to the party? Because he was a fungi.
Why did he leave the party so soon? Because it was crowded and there wasn't mushroom.

New Magazine Idea
My husband came out of the reading room and said, "Do you think these two women are one in the same?" I said, "no I didn't think so." Then he said, " I think these two magazines should go into business together, they could call it Knits & Tits!"

Now There's A Bargain
My husband returned from the grocery store and reported that the asparagus was $1.99 per pound with a Friday special 2 pounds for $5.00. Again what a bargain.

Vs.
When I set up a new Kindle I downloaded WWF again and started with Smart Match to find me an opponent. I was telling my husband about my current game and showed him the score. He looked at the score and asked if I was playing with Anita and who was she? I told him the game chose her and I thought, Anita a new opponent.

Unknown Artist
This was found on the chalkboard of an empty classroom. Another wonderful piece of temporary art. Who did this? What a gift they have. It is really amazing.

The Princess Bride cast 25 years later
We have used lines from this in our house of 25 years. I often wake up in the morning and remind Kevin that, "I am not a witch, I'm your wife". We have fun storming the castle, I tell my young demanding Grandson, "As you wish", and when anyone gets married, we all think, "Marriage", said as the priest said it to Buttercup.

Let it Slide
When I saw this I thought about how busy the wife was when her husband said, "I think I'll put in a slide for the kids." She probably shook her head in agreement as she juggled a baby on her hip, the phone to her ear, a pot on the stove, and cupcakes for the bake sale in the oven.

I have always believed this...
If you want to say something to someone, think, and then say it. Never miss the chance to say I love you, Drive safely, see you soon. Never live in regret. I wish I had said.....
