Our Niece Sara and her husband Jason Baechler
We welcome Jacob and Brandon Baechler with open arms to our family. We started with Sara's Sister Tasha and her husband Steven bringing us triplets. Then our son Zachary bringing us Joshua and now twins with Sara and Jason's boys. Oh what fun we will all have.

Necking
Doesn't this remind you of when couples toast and try to intertwine their arms and sip from wine glasses?

Chameleons
So our friend Nikki posted this picture from Uganda of a chameleon trying to mimic her freckles.
Then I saw this and thought it was very cool.
And the other day I read that the chameleons were being taken off the endangered species list because the people in Spain that had counted them may not have been able to locate them to include them in the count.

Ingenutiy
So if you will notice, two buckets of dirt and a Spider Man mask balanced on sticks, carefully suspended through the wagon handle. Now hitch up the trike with Bungee cords so you can tow it all around the yard. He wouldn't pose for me, but you have to love the ingenuity of a 3 1/2 year old mind.

Corporate America?
With all the talk about how the politicians are owned by corporations and how the corporations are using their contributions to win political clout, I got to thinking. Why do the campaigners need to raise so much money in their run for office? Well it costs a lot of money to advertise on Television, millions of dollars per 1 minute ad. What if we decided to not allow any political advertisement on the television. What if we only allow a small series of debates so we can learn about our candidates platforms? Could we limit the amount of money that a candidate is allowed to spend getting elected? I guess that has been voted down in the past. Well just think, if there is no need for an obscene amount of money being raised for a candidate to get into office, how many favors will not have to be paid back in legislation that may not be in the best interest of our country. At the very least, we would not be subjected to all those advertisements.

Posh Penguins
Skeinz, a yarn store in New Zealand, is calling on knitters throughout the world to knit sweaters for the penguins affected by a massive oil spill that occurred earlier this month. The tiny sweaters, while eliciting aww's and squee's, serve a very important function: they prevent the oil-soaked birds from poisoning themselves by preening, as well as keeping them warm before it's their turn to be cleaned up by cleanup workers. And, you know, who doesn't want to save the lives of penguins by dressing them in the most adorable way possible?
For those of who know how to knit, here's how to make a the perfect penguin sweater, as explained in Skeinz's newsletter

Privacy, isn't that so funny?
Do you really think that the governments tactics are something new? Are you living in an illusion that we as American Citizens have rights and freedoms? The Japanese Americans know this is not the case and they have known it for a very long time. It is important to remember the injustice that this country is capable of and keep an open mind. Fear is the tool. If you are not afraid, you will have nothing to protect yourself from. Be careful what you fall for, question what you are being told, and think for yourself.

This is a Good Guy, He makes me laugh.
"What are the nuns doing that they can't answer [the phone]?," the miffed pontiff can be heard saying. "I am Pope Francis."

I thought this was so funny and the Nuns didn't answer the phone because they were speaking to and listening to Pope Francis's boss.
I am not Catholic and I don't really like organized religion as I believe there is so often misinterpretation, but I like this man, he seems so real and genuine.
